The June premiere of Netflix and Play Network studio’s remake of Nollywood classic ‘Glamour Girls’ has been announced.

The remake will release on the site on June 24, 2022, according to the streamer.
The film, which stars Nse Ikpe-Etim, Sharon Ooja, Joselyn Dumas, and Toke Makinwa, is reported to be largely based on Kenneth Nnebue’s original narrative.
The narrative of the 1994 film ‘Glamour Girls’ revolves around a young girl’s search for a better life in Lagos, which leads her to a dubious lifestyle.
Eucharia Anunobi, Zack Orji, Liz Benson, Dolly Unachukwu, Gloria Alozie, Ernest Obi, Ngozi Ezeonu, Gloria Anozie, Pat Attah, and Sandra Achums were all discovered because to the classic.
Last month, Netflix teased the film’s purchase with a commercial featuring two of the film’s stars, Nse Ikpe-Etim and Sharon Ooja.
The film production company founded by Charles Okpaleke later published a teaser revealing that it was heading directly to Netflix as an Original. The narrative, director, and screenwriters are all unknowns.
