Wizkid has revealed that his next album “More Love Less Ego (MLLE)” is finished and will be released in the third quarter of 2022.
On Sunday, May 22, 2022, the super mega star and Grammy winner announced this on Instagram.
Wizkid said in the posts that his new album has been completed.
He then thanked everyone who helped him make the album in another post.
Wizkid’s fourth studio album, “Made In Lagos,” was released in 2020 and featured the global smash “Essence,” which received a Grammy nomination for Best Global Song for its popularity.
The song’s resounding success earned it a Grammy nomination, and while Wizkid went home empty-handed, the nominations reflected the song’s global prominence.
Wizkid may be aiming to follow in the footsteps of Grammy winner Burna Boy, who was nominated for his first Grammy with “African Giant” but went on to win with the masterfully orchestrated “Twice As Tall” a year later.
Fans and critics alike will be anxious to see if Wizkid’s fifth album, “More Love Less Ego,” has what it takes to win him his first independent Grammy prize in the coming weeks.
