Buhari Appoints Dantani Wushishi as the new NECO Registrar
Prof. Dantani Wushishi has been appointed as the registrar of National Examinations council, (NECO).
His appointment was contained in a letter dated July 16, 2021, signed by the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, which the nation’s secondary schools’ examination body made available to newsmen through its Head of Information and Public Relations Division, Azeez Sani.
His appointment came seven weeks after prof Obioma Godswill died serving as the registrar of the Examination body.
President Muhammadu Buhari approved the appointment of Professor Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi as Registrar/Chief Executive of the National Examinations Council.
Before his appointment as the registrar of NECO, Prof. Wushishi was a lecturer in the faculty of Education, Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto. He transferred his service to Federal University of Technology, Minna. He also held other positions in the education sector, among which are Post Graduate etc.
