After an intriguing teaser in December 2022, the release date for Charlie And The Boys.
Kanayo O. Kanayo plays the starring role of Charlie Fingers, a competent thief who has returned to the streets after serving a year in jail for a robbery gone bad, in the exciting heist adventure.
Charlie devises a cunning scheme to steal a rare piece of art from the 14th century while avoiding the persistent pursuit of the law because he is determined to get revenge against the person who betrayed him.
Charlie and his crew maneuver through a perilous game of cat and mouse in the movie, keeping spectators guessing at every step and taking them on an exhilarating ride.
Charlie And The Boys, written by Nwamaka Chikezie and directed by Sele Got, stars Tina Mba as Officer Fashood, a law-abiding police officer determined to apprehend Charlie and his gang.
Sani Mu’Azu, Seun Ajayi, Loud Voice, Erica Opia Bale, Lantana Ahmed, Gloria Lemmy Johnson, Folake Akinfewa, Ozioma Onodigbo, Fredrik Skog, Mrten Skog, and Peter Sivlér are among the cast members for the Damn Good Studio Production.
The movie is made by Bem Pever and Sele Got and is distributed internationally by Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution. It was filmed in Dubai and Abuja.
The heist film was previewed in Stockholm, Sweden, in May 2022, for a mixed audience comprising Stockholm businesspeople and a visiting group from the Nigerian government.
The movie Charlie and The Boys is scheduled to premiere in cinemas on September 29, 2023.
