Chidi Mokeme returns to our screens in the newly released Merry Men 3: Nemesis teaser.
We get a preview of his persona and what’s to come in the video that the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN) uploaded online. Mokeme plays what appears to be a nasty guy who is encouraging a group to conduct highly nefarious activities in the action-teasing part.
As they deal with the tragic loss of an unnamed person and find themselves seeking vengeance from the murderers, The Merry Men also take on more action-heavy responsibilities.
The teaser doesn’t confirm the return of Falz and Jim Iyke, who were also members of the Merry Men team, even though the previous sequels featured actors such AY Makun, Ramsey Nouah, and William Uchemba.
As we may anticipate intense automobile chases, a rescue mission, and high speed bike feats, Ay and Uchemba are also seen in several fighting and shooting scenes.
Sam Dede, Francis Onwochei, Ufoma Mc Dermott, Nadia Buari, Caroline Hutchings, and Regina Daniels are among the other cast members. As we wait for the official trailer, Merry Men 3 promises to be an action-packed drama. It is directed by Moses Inwang and produced by Darlington Abuda.
The first instalment of Men: The Real Yoruba Demons opened us up to the lives of four of Abuja’s most eligible and notorious bachelors, their thriving businesses, fast cars, homes, and women. Then we had Merry Men 2: Another Mission (2019) which closed with a total gross of ₦234,505,169.
And now Merry Men 3: Nemesis which is expected to be the ultimate crime thriller after the four-year wait since the last sequel.
The wait is almost over as we countdown to the theatrical debut on October 13, 2023, which will be distributed by Filmone Entertainment across cinemas nationwide.
