Asake, an Afrobeats superstar was forced by his security crew to abruptly halt his Baltimore performance.

Asake was encouraged to take an early shower during a performance at a sold-out concert in Baltimore, USA after one of the event’s security officers claimed that his handgun had been taken.
Asake was seen in a video online running off the stage with security.
The United States has a record of gun violence and recently, American artist PnB Rock was shot dead at a restaurant in California.
The report of one of the security personnel losing his gun in a fully packed indoor hall is sufficient reason to prompt the organization to end the show and prioritize the safety of everyone present.
The show’s organizers apologized and said the decision was made for everyone’s safety.
The event will be moved to a new date, which will be publicized as soon as it is established, according to the organizers and Asake.
