Future, an American rapper, announced on Monday, February 30th, 2022, that his smash track ‘Wait For U,’ off his recent album ‘I Never Liked You,’ had gone platinum.

According to the statement, Nigerian star Tems, who appears on the single alongside Canadian rapper Drake, will earn her second US certification.
Future, an American rapper, announced on Monday, February 30th, 2022, that his smash track ‘Wait For U,’ off his recent album ‘I Never Liked You,’ had gone platinum.
Tems won her first Platinum plaque in October 2021, after her fragrance ‘Essence’ sold one million units.
Tems has been on the albums of worldwide superstars Drake and his long-term collaborator Future since attaining international prominence with the hit of ‘Essence.’
She will join Wizkid as the only Nigerian musician with two US platinum plaques with her second platinum plaque. Wizkid accomplished this achievement by appearing on Drake’s worldwide hit “One Dance” and his big international song “Essence” with Tems.
