Some of hip hop’s top talents were recognized at the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards. Tyler, the Creator, who received the first Cultural Influence Award and also won Hip Hop Album of the Year, was one of the big winners. Lil Baby won many awards, including Artist of the Year. For “WAP,” Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion won three prizes. J. Cole was voted Lyricist of the Year, and Yung Bleu was chosen Best New Hip Hop Artist.
