The three-year marriage of Queen Silekunola Naomi to Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, has come to an end.
On Thursday, December 23, 2021, she issued a statement stating that she no longer want to be referred to as the “wife of the Ooni of Ife or Queen of Ile-Ife.”
The prophetess admitted that their marriage had been tumultuous, implying that the king had’side attractions’ that she was never bothered by.
She also denied having a kid before marrying the monarch.
“Today I announce the beginning of a new dawn and the close of a chapter. Today, I am a mother to God’s unique gift. I am no longer a slave to my thoughts of perfection,” she said.
Last year, the couple welcomed a child.
