Post Malone and Swae Lee’s song “Sunflower” has gone 17 times platinum, making it the most certified song in American history.

‘Sunflower’ was eligible for its 17th platinum plaque, making it the most certified song in the US, according to music chart news service Chart Data on Monday, November 14, 2022.
The song from 2018 single appears on Post Malone’s 2019 album, “Hollywood’s Bleeding.” Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, a popular Marvel animated film, would use the song as its theme song.
‘Sunflower’ has eclipsed Lil Nas X’s ‘Old Town Road’s’ previous record of 16 platinum plaques with its 17th platinum plaque.
The track, “Sunflower,” is one of the most popular in the world and has topped the charts in a number of nations, including the US.
On Spotify, the song has had over 2.4 billion streams, while on YouTube, it has received over 1.9 billion streaming.
In more than ten nations, “Sunflower” has achieved platinum status, going triple platinum in the UK and a record-breaking 17 times platinum in the US.
At the 2020 Grammy Awards, it was up for Record of the Year and Best Duo/Group Performance.
