Local news sources indicate that the American rapper Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston, Texas.
Along with his uncle Quavo and a distant cousin named Offset, Takeoff—real name Kirshnik Khari Ball—formed the hip-hop group Migos as one of its three members.
According to several stories, a dice game caused the shooting to start.
Takeoff was shown in social media pictures sporting a white top and black jeans.
In the aftermath, a man who matched the rapper’s description could be seen laying lifeless on the ground.
