Apple & HBO series were among the night’s major awards, making the 2022 Emmy Awards historic.
The night’s top award winners included “White Lotus” with six wins, “Ted Lasso” with four, including Outstanding Comedy Series, and HBO’s “Succession” with three.
‘Squid Game,’ Netflix’s most-watched series, made history as Hwang Dong-hyuk won Outstanding Directing and Lee Jung-Jae won Best Actor in a Drama Series.
