Nigerian Lady Amarachi Attamah Becomes Igbo Language Instructor at Harvard and Yale Universities 

Amarachi Attamah, a US-based Nigerian lady, happily announced that she got a teaching job at two Ivy League universities in the USA.

Amarachi is one who has promoted the Igbo language and culture beyond the borders of the Igbo land. She stands out as an advocate for protecting her language, culture and legacy.

Her work in promoting the Igbo culture takes on a new dimension with her acquiring the position of instructor at two Ivy League universities in the United States.

Amarachi noted she will be teaching at the African Languages Program (ALP) in the Department of African and African American Studies at Harvard University.

She will also be teaching the Igbo language at the Directed Independent Language Study (DILS) program at the Yale Center for Language Study, Yale University.

“I am excited to share the beginning of another incredible journey. This spring, I will be the Igbo language instructor in the African Languages Program (ALP) in the Department of African and African American Studies at Harvard University. Harvard’s ALP is one of the largest language programs in the world, having taught over 45 African languages.

“This spring, I am also the Igbo instructor in the Directed Independent Language Study (DILS) program at the Yale Center for Language Study, Yale University. Igbo instructor at two Ivy Leagues. Mụ bụ Amarachi. Chai!”

She shared her excitement on Facebook and Twitter (X).
