LandWey Investment Limited, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s real estate and property development, has appointed Sheila Ojei as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 4, 2023.
This strategic decision, as conveyed in a statement released by the company in Lagos on Tuesday, represents a significant milestone in LandWey’s quest for unmatched excellence within the real estate sector.
At the same time, Olawale Ayilara, the previous CEO of LandWey Investment Limited, now fully takes on the position of Group CEO at Oxygen Holdings, the esteemed parent company of LandWey. Sheila Ojei, an accomplished professional, enters her new role with a rich background of experience and expertise that extends across various industries.
Sheila Ojei, in her own words, expressed excitement about her significant appointment, stating her enthusiasm for leading LandWey in its mission to redefine growth and excel in the real estate sector.
She emphasised the company’s commitment to operational excellence in providing innovative housing solutions and looks forward to collaborating with a dedicated team to achieve the company’s visionary goals.
Prior to becoming CEO, Ojei held the position of Director of Strategy, Funding, and Stakeholder Management at the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF). In this role, she led multifaceted initiatives that involved strategy development, fundraising, innovation, partnership building, and stakeholder management.
Her track record includes consistently driving organizations towards their business goals, with expertise in strategic leadership, programme management, business development, and innovative communication strategies.
Sheila Ojei’s impressive educational credentials encompass an MBA from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, a Master of Arts in Global Management from Regent’s University, London, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. John’s University, the Peter J. Tobin College of Business, New York, USA.
