Three songs—Burna Boy’s “Last Last,” Tems’ “Free Mind,” and Rema’s “Calm Down” remix—all achieved new heights on the Billboard list for the week ending October 15, 2022.
The Afrobeats entry is led by “Last Last,” which reaches a new top of Number 44 after rising 5 spots from Number 49 the previous week to prolong its 13-week run on the charts.
The 2020 R&B single “Free Mind” by Tems moves up 4 spots this week, from Number 46 last week to Number 50, extending its 12-week tenure on the chart.
In its fifth week on the chart, Rema’s “Calm Down” remix with Selena Gomez has had an equally spectacular rise, moving up from Number 80 last week to a new top of Number 75 this week.
The top 9 songs on this week’s Billboard US Afrobeats list stay the same, with Rema’s “Calm Down” holding in the top position.
“Last Last” comes in at number two, followed by “Free Mind” at number three, “Essence” at number four, and “Kulosa” at number five.
After rising from Number 11 the previous week, Ayra Starr’s brand-new single “Rush” now occupies the Number 10 position. The song “Bad To Me” by Wizkid plummets from number 10 to number 15 this week.
