Most Nollywood producers and actresses, according to the reality star, have turned to influencing for money.

Ka3na, a Big Brother Naija season 5 housemate, has spoken out about a recent trend in the Nigerian film business.
According to the reality star, the paucity of ‘new’ Nollywood films on Netflix, the worldwide streaming platform, is due to filmmakers and performers focusing on brand influencing.
“Most Nollywood movie producers/actors have become brand influencers. No latest Nigerian movies on Netflix. Bbn Housemates don open their eyes to influencing money. It’s not a competition y’all. Go make us good holiday movies please, “Ka3na tweeted.
Despite the controversial actor’s accusations, Netflix has added a slew of new shows this year, including Kunle Afolayan’s ‘Swallow,’ which premiered in October.
Movies from renowned studios including Afolayan’s KAP, Mo Abudu’s EbonyLife Studios, Play Network, and FilmOne Entertainment are also slated to be released around the holidays.
