Basketmouth, the popular comedian, may have earned a lucrative new agreement with Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service.

On Instagram, the show’s creator teased viewers with a selfie of himself and the Amazon Prime crew (who are presently in Nigeria for this year’s AFRIFF). The photo was captioned by him as follows:

“Had an amazing dinner with the Amazon video team last night. #Kutukutukutu is all I can say for now.”

He frequently uses the hashtag when he has projects in the works, implying favorable feedback from the Amazon Prime crew.

Remember that Basketmouth published two critically praised comedy series this year, including his most recent ‘Ghana Jollof,’ which is Showmax’s first original Nigerian comedy series.

The series, directed by award-winning filmmaker Diji Aderogba, includes a wonderful mix of Nollywood and Ghallywood talents like as Uzor Arukwe, Akah Nnani, Funnybone, Joselyn Dumas, and James Gardiner.

Basketmouth has also recently secured a record contract with Empire Music in advance of the release of his sophomore album.
