The second album by Nigerian sensation Asake, “Work Of Art,” is out now.

The 14-track album contains previously released songs ‘2:30,’ ‘Yoga,’ and the most recent single ‘Amapiano,’ which features the album’s lone feature, Olamide. The album’s release follows the breakthrough superstar surpassing a career milestone of over 1.75 billion streams and counting.
Asake collaborated with various producers on the record, including his usual colleague Magicsticks and Nigerian producer BlaiseBeatz. Throughout the campaign, Asake released many cinematic images, including ‘Amapiano,’ which was shot in Lagos, ‘Yoga,’ which was shot in scenic Senegal, and ‘2:30,’ which was shot in Los Angeles and directed by Edgar Esteves.
Asake won his first BET Awards nomination this week for Viewers Choice: Best International Act at this year’s awards, which are planned for June 25th later this month.
Work of Art is Asake’s second album after Mr. Money With The Vibe, released on September 7, 2022. It broke the record for the highest-charting Nigerian debut album of all time, debuting at number one in over 30 countries on Apple Music, including the United Kingdom, Nigeria, Ireland, Ghana, and others. With the release, he became the first African artist to achieve #1 on the UK Apple Music albums list, and it has since been played over 780 million times globally.
