Nigeria reported 159 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday morning.
According to the Nigerian News Agency (NAN), the new illnesses are up from the 48 cases reported the day before. According to the NCDC, 159 new cases have been recorded in seven states and the FCT.
According to the study, Lagos had 119 instances, while Akwa Ibom had 19. Rivers (11), Ogun (five), Ekiti (two), FCT (one), Delta (one), and Kwara (one) are the others (one).

According to the center, Nigeria has continued to see significant increases, with the latest statistics from the agency revealing that the country now has 169,074 confirmed cases.
