By Omotayo Olutekunbi
Mr Tinubu made his comments while visiting the party’s delegates in Bauchi on Wednesday.
“Let me greet and appreciate all of you who have been waiting here for a long time while we were parabulating the city of Bauchi,” Mr Tinubu said. “I am one of those running to become the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and I am very sure, with your support, I will win.”
Mr Tinubu added that he wants to serve Nigeria and help it change for the better, citing his past administration in Lagos State.
“I want to serve my country, I want Nigeria to change, help those who are extremely poor, give priority to education, give priority to power generation so that we can have industrial growth,” Mr Tinubu added.
For the party’s success, he urged all members of the party in the state to unify and avoid any sort of hostility or division.
The APC presidential candidate went on to say that he had seen that party members were not as unified as he had hoped, and that he would do all in his power to bring them together.
“If you decide to work together, nobody can beat you in Bauchi.”
