Rema has released the dates for his headline performance at London’s O2 Arena.
He announced the must-see performance earlier today, May 2, 2023, at London’s largest entertainment venue with a 20,000-seat capacity stage.
His sole performance in the UK this year is this one. After his outstanding performance at the sold-out O2 Brixton event, including Fireboy, Victony, and Dave, this is his first trip back to London.
After the release of Rave & Roses Ultra, a deluxe edition of his 2022 album, Rave & Roses, Rema’s performance follows.
Collaborations with 6lack, Chris Brown, AJ Tracey, Yseult, and Selena Gomez are included on the 22-track album.
The album has received more than 1 billion Spotify streams since its release, making it the first African album in history to do so.
The highest-peaking Nigerian song of all time, his international smash tune Calm Down from the album is presently charting at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Rema joins the expanding list of Nigerian artists who have played at London’s renowned O2 Arena, including Asake, Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy.
The event will take place on November 14, 2023, a Tuesday.
