Mercy Aigbe has sent her fans an emotional letter and a stirring prayer for a new Nigeria and the goals for the nation under the new leadership.
The actress earnestly hoped that the new government would bring about beneficial reforms that benefit all residents, ushering in an era of growth and prosperity for Nigeria in her praying caption.
She also exhorted her followers to cut ties with toxic and negative people, empowering them to take control of their lives and eliminate such influences.
“As it’s a new dawn in Nigeria, I pray this administration favours us, I pray this season will be the beginning of a better, greater Nigeria,” expressed the actress.
She exhorted the audience to “raise the rent in their minds” and “evict negative and toxic people from their mental space” in a passionate cry to action.
She wrote, “Don’t forget not to allow negative and toxic people to rent space in your head. Raise the rent and kick them out!”
Famous Nigerian actress, director, fashionista, and entrepreneur Mercy Aigbe Hajiya Meena is well known for her contributions to the Yoruba indigenous cinema industry.
Her encouraging words and prayerful message have touched her fans tremendously, which has given them fresh hope and inspiration during these pivotal moments for the country. Her sincere words come at a critical time since, on Monday, May 29, 2023, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria’s next president, was sworn in.
