This comes after Davido referred to the Mavins’ leader as his mentor.

Don Jazzy, the famous record label owner, has expressed enormous satisfaction in Nigerian music star David Adeleke, widely known as Davido.
He turned to Instagram to express his respect for the younger singer and to congratulate him on his amazing achievements in the music business.
The Mavin Records CEO praised the musician’s work ethic, saying it continues to motivate him, even as Davido regards him as his mentor.
He wrote, “And that’s how life is @davido. Now I look at all you have achieved and I am super proud of you. Even with all that success and wealth, I look at your work ethic and I am highly motivated. I’m glad that as a mentor I haven’t let you down too. We thank GOD. More blessings bro.”
Davido answered with heartfelt thanks for Don’s nice comments.
Don Jazzy’s statement follows Davido’s recent interview with YouTuber Tayo Aina, in which he discussed his early music career, his progress in the business, and his deep admiration for the Mavins CEO.
He compared his first meeting with Don Jazzy to a meeting with Jesus. Davido conveyed his admiration by saying, “Don Jazzy was my mentor. I remember the first time I saw him, it felt like I was looking at Jesus. It was truly amazing.”
The singer recognized the record label owner’s important effect on his musical career and regarded him as a guiding factor.
