The actress says that it does not ensure that she will vote for them.

Mary Lazarus, a Nollywood actress, has stated that she will gladly accept money from any politician soliciting for votes.
On Monday, March 21, 2022, the actress revealed this via her Instagram Stories.
“If any politician gives me money to vote for him or her, I will gladly collect the money. Na my money…especially the ones when don rule before…but I go use my head vote,” she wrote.
Lazarus’ post came only days after her colleague and reality TV star Ifuennada cursed any celebrity who plans to take money from aspiring politicians.
“Thunder will fire any celebrity that collects money to campaign for useless candidates in the forthcoming elections. We must all put greed aside and do what is right for once,” she wrote.
“Lots of you go on vacation to exotic countries – countries that have a good working system. I’m sure if you’re non-Nigerian, Nigeria will be the last place you’d want to vacation because of how everything is m*ssed up.”
Ifuennada has joined the ranks of celebrities who have taken a stand on the upcoming general elections.
It should be noted that in 2020, prominent Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo swore never to advocate for a member of either of the two reigning parties.
“I Alice Iyabo Ojo, will never support, campaign or vote for any APC or PDP member ever again in my life even if you are my family or friend, we need a New Nigeria Flag of Nigeria, we need to stop recycling Universal recycling symbol #EndBadGoverance,” she tweeted.
Her message occurred in the midst of the nation’s #EndSars protest.
