The number one song on Billboard US Afrobeats Songs of 2022 is Wizkid’s international mega single “Essence” ft. Tems and Justin Bieber.

One of the tracks on Wizkid’s fourth album, “Made In Lagos,” which was released in 2020, is “Essence.” The album’s standout track soon gained popularity among listeners.
The Justin Bieber remix of Essence, which reached number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100, helped it become the first Afrobeats song to climb into the top 10 on the chart. Essence shot to international prominence.
“Essence” topped the list of Afrobeats songs with a global audience released on November 1, 2022, which also included the songs “Peru” by Fireboy featuring Ed Sheeran, “Love Nwantiti” by CKay, and “Last Last” by Burna Boy.
Tems had an impressive 4 singles in the top 10, compared to Burna Boy’s 2.
