By Omotayo Olutekunbi
Experience Vector’s journey as you listen to his much-awaited album, “Teslim,” which drops on November 11th, 2022.
He founded ‘Lafiaji Radio,’ a podcast station, just launched on Cool FM and YouTube, in advance of the release. This podcast seeks to rouse the African consciousness by challenging the social-political norm that views African history or traditions as impolite. Additionally, he collaborated with Wande Coal and Cracker Mallo to create the songs “Mama Maradona” and “Insomnia,” respectively.
On the album, there are a lot of different artists, such as Nasty C, Ladipoe, Seyi Vibez, Good Girl LA, and many others. The project focuses on a variety of facets of Vector’s journey; it begins with his search for self-awareness, the turning points he had to pass through to get to this point in his life, and the beginning of this new chapter. It is devoted to his father’s confidence and perseverance and covers a wide spectrum of emotions, topics, and cognitive processes.
Several producers are involved in the project, including Mr. Kleb, SELF, Kel P, and Major Bangz. Vector and Killer Kane are the primary A&Rs for the album, and Mix House SA’s Michael Manitshana finished the final mix and master.
