StarTimes has launched a festive promo, dubbed Xmas Awoof, that allows viewers to watch the drama series from the comfort of their own homes.

The StarTimes ‘Xmas Awoof’ promotion allows families to spend quality time together while enjoying fantastic family entertainment.
The promotion, which runs from Wednesday, November 10, 2021, to January 10, 2022, alleviates the strain of high expenses, especially as the economy continues to bite harder on families, by bringing the most sought-after family entertainment at a more affordable price.
Nova bouquet subscribers who recharge for two months will be upgraded and receive two months of Basic/Smart bundles during this time. Subscribers to the Basic/Smart bouquet who pay for two months in advance will receive a two-month Super/Classic bundle, which includes instant access to ST Nollywood Plus to watch Okirika and Ile Alayo.
Subscribers to the Super/Classic bouquet who renew for two months will receive a seven-day free trial. In addition, a limited number of customers will receive hampers and cellphones.
“Christmas is around the corner and it is the season of love, fun, and entertainment. However, love is never complete without giving and this is why StarTimes has launched the ‘Xmas Awoof’ promo, a gift to our darling subscribers this season,” Lazarus Ibeabuchi, PR Manager, StarTimes Nigeria said.
“As Christmas approaches, families like to spend quality time watching TV series and movies together at home. Okirika and Ile Alayo are coming. Likewise, we introduced three sister channels of Zee World on November 1 alongside a new Nollywood channel. This promo caps it all as it saves extra money for our subscribers while bringing sought-after entertainment,” he said.
Okirika, based on the boisterous yet dramatic popular marketplaces for worn garments, is a must-see for subscribers. Mr. Macaroni, Zicsaloma, Muka Ray, Jide Kosoko, Ini Edo, Korede Bello, Olaiya Igwe, Yinka Quadri, Binta Ayo-Mogaji, Toyin Abraham, Toro Aramide, Yvonne Jegede, Jide ‘Jblaze’ Oyegbile, and Kitan Bukola star in the film.
Also premiering in December is ‘Ile Alayo,’ a film written by the great Femi Adebayo about the tenants of a “face me, face you” house who have opposing behavior and views. A Muslim preacher, a prophet, a merchant selling Indian hemp, prostitutes, a veteran soldier, and cybercriminals are among the suspects.
