Odumeje predicted huge massacres in Anambra to his church members.
By Omotayo Olutekunbi
Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, aka Odumeje, a Nigerian preacher and self-proclaimed prophet, declared on Sunday, October 16 that the 2021 Anambra gubernatorial election will not take place as planned.
On Saturday, November 6, however, the election went off without a hitch.
Prior to Odumeje’s prophecy in October, there was turmoil in the country’s southeast area. Security concerns in the region have recently been a source of concern, and many have expressed anxiety that the November 6 election would be violent.
Despite the evident security dangers, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) stated that the election will be held as planned. Odumeje, on the other hand, stated in a sermon to his congregation on Sunday, October 16 that there would not be an election in Anambra because he expects violence.
Odumeje predicted huge massacres in Anambra to his church members. The divisive cleric claimed he had been praying to God about the upcoming elections.
Here’s a video of him preaching on Sunday.
Despite Odumeje’s election predictions, the voting process was reasonably peaceful.
However, in order to guarantee that all votes are counted, the Nigerian electoral organization, INEC, has stated that voting will take place today, Sunday, November 7 in all impacted polling units.
Specifically, polling units having Biometric Voters Accreditation Systems that aren’t working.
