Netflix subscribers, its game time! The game streaming platform has officially released its first set of games.
Netflix members with Android phones will be able to play games on the streamer’s mobile app starting Tuesday, November 2.
For Android Netflix customers, there are already five games available, including two for the popular horror series ‘Stranger Things.’ While some of the games would require internet connectivity, the remainder will be available in several languages and may be played offline, according to sources.
Netflix says that plans are in the works to make the gaming feature available to iOS customers in the coming months.
The streaming network originally announced aspirations to join the video game business in July, but has been quiet about its progress until now.
Netflix games are available as part of the total subscription, with no additional costs, advertisements, or in-app purchases.
