Hustle, a forthcoming sports drama co-produced by Adam Sandler and basketball legend LeBron James. Jeremiah Zagar directed the film, which will be published on Netflix next month.
Sandler portrays basketball scout Stanley Sugerman, a guy who adores the game but is beginning to suspect that after so many years in the industry, the game may not love him back.
Stanley is given one final chance to establish himself and maybe pursue the coaching profession that he seemed to desire. He hits the road and meets a once-in-a-generation talent named Bo Cruz, whom he instantly takes under his wing. However, the road to the top will not be simple. Opponents and bureaucracy, as well as a ticking clock, stand in their way.
Hustle is written by Taylor Materne and Will Fetters and stars Queen Latifah, Ben Foster, Kenny Smith, Anthony Edwards, Jordan Hull, Maria Botto, Ainhoa Pillet, Raul Castillo, Jaleel White, Heidi Gardner, and Robert Duvall. Along with Sandler and James, Allen Covert, Joe Roth, Jeffrey Kirschenbaum, Zack Roth, and Maverick Carter produce. Executive producers include Materne, Fetters, Judit Maull, Dave Meyers, Spencer Beighley, Jamal Henderson, Barry Bernardi, and Kevin Grady.
Hustle will be released on June 8th. Watch the Trailer:
