Netflix collaboration with Play Network’s studio, ‘Glamour Girls,’ is on the way.

In collaboration with Play Network Studios, Netflix has released a first look at its next Nigerian original title “Glamour Girls.”
Sharon Ooja, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Joselyn Dumas, Toke Makinwa, Segilola Ogidan, and Taymesan Emmanuel are among the cast members of the upcoming adaptation, which has yet to be revealed.
Kenneth Nnebue’s original film, which was released in 1994 and examined gender equality in a patriarchal environment, became a statewide success.
The story follows a young girl’s quest for a better life in the vibrant city of Lagos, which leads her to a questionable lifestyle.
Eucharia Anunobi, Zack Orji, Liz Benson, Dolly Unachukwu, Gloria Alozie, Ernest Obi, Ngozi Ezeonu, Gloria Anozie, Pat Attah, and Sandra Achums were among the breakout stars on ‘Glamour Girls.’
Following the success of its premiere film, ‘Living in Bondage: Breaking Free,’ Play Network Studios announced that it has acquired the rights to the 1994 classic, as well as other vintage classics, for release in 2019.
Last year, the feature film was eventually shot in collaboration with streaming behemoth Netflix. The Netflix original will be added to the streamer’s strong slate of movies planned to release this year.
