Miriam Olusanya was named the new Managing Manager of GTBank, the Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO). Olusanya is the first female MD in the bank since its founding in 1990. She was the executive director of the bank until her appointment.
She has more than 23 years of banking experience in different divisions, among which transactions, asset and liability management, financial markets, corporate finance and relationships with investors.
She joined GTbank as a trainee in management and continued to become general manager till 2018.
The business has also announced a new GTCO Management Board and changes to the GTBank Board stating that the Central Bank of Nigeria has authorized all nominations (CBN).
