Fayose Urges Lagos Residents To Avoid Atiku’s Rally In Lagos

“They are in Lagos…sharing money this night, N10, 000 because they want people to come out for their rally tomorrow…”

Ayodele Fayose’s younger brother, Isaac Fayose, has advised against attending the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign event scheduled for Lagos on Monday, December 5, 2022.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s nominee for president, is scheduled to hold a campaign event in Lagos state on Monday. Teslim Balogun Square (TBS) will serve as the location of the campaign. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential flagbearer for the All Progressives Congress (APC), conducted a rally there on November 26 in preparation for the general elections in 2023.

Thugs would be let loose during the PDP rally for Atiku Abubakar in Tafawa Balewa Square, according to Fayose.

“They are in Lagos. PDP, they are sharing money this night, N10, 000 because they want people to come out for their rally tomorrow.

“Don’t go for their rally. So many thugs will be there to snatch your phone, slash your pockets, and don’t come out tomorrow for Atiku. Don’t go and wound yourself.

“They are bad people and bad things follow them. Stay indoors, stay in your house, or go to work,” Fayose said in a video posted on his known Facebook page.

The fact that Atiku is holding this event in Lagos, Tinubu’s stronghold and a place where many young people have endorsed Peter Obi of the Labour Party, makes it both highly historic and fascinating (LP).

As Olusegun Obasanjo stated that the successor to Muhammadu Buhari, the current president of Nigeria, must be from the south, Atiku Abubakar appeared to have lost support. The most prominent contender from the North in the 2023 election is Atiku, who served as Obasanjo’s deputy from 1999 to 2007.
