Davido’s much-awaited fourth album, “Timeless,” was made available on March 31, 2023. The album received a positive response from a broad audience and set several first-week records on Nigeria’s top streaming services.
The megastar has debuted the album’s first track, “Unavailable,” which features Musa Keyz of South Africa.
After a protracted absence from the spotlight, Davido’s comeback is announced in the song video. Davido joined dancers wearing vibrant South African traditional clothing while executing moves from the popular “Unavailable” TikTok challenge in the vibrant Dami Twitch-directed videos.
Davido has dominated streaming services since the album’s debut and shattered several first-week records.
The album has eight top 10 entries on TurnTable Top 100, with Asake’s “No Competition” peaking at No. 1 and all 17 of the album’s tracks reaching the Top 40.
It now ranks No. 2 on the chart among Nigerian albums, trailing only Burna Boy’s “Love, Damini,” which debuted at No. 14.
Several African and Nigerian records have been broken by “Timeless” across all five of Nigeria’s main music streaming services.
