Justice Inyang Ekwo dismissed the lawsuit on January 30, 2023, filed by Chief Ambrose Owuru, a former Hope Democratic Party presidential candidate.
The lawsuit was rejected for three reasons.
According to ThePunch, one of the justifications was that the lawsuit was a grave misuse of the legal system, had beyond its expiration date, and was an insult to the authority of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
