Victony’s “Soweto” Remix Makes UK Singles Chart Debut 

Victony, a Nigerian superstar, has debuted on the UK Official Singles chart.

Victony’s ‘Soweto’ has become one of the most popular Afrobeats songs in the world, with fans in a variety of places.

The newest edition of the UK Official Afrobeats Chart (May 14 – May 20, 2023) saw ‘Soweto’ remix starring Rema & Don Toliver hold its No. 1 position for a second week, extending its chart stay to 20 weeks.

As it enters its sixth week on the list, Davido’s mega track ‘Unavailable’ featuring Musa Keys remains at No. 2.

Rema’s new song ‘Charm’ and Adekunle Gold’s ‘Party No Dey Stop’ ft. Zinoleesky is still at Nos. 3 and 4, respectively.

Davido’s ‘Feel’ rises two positions to No. 5, while Asake’s ‘2:30’ falls to No. 6.

Tiwa Savage’s popular song ‘Stamina’ ft. Young Jonn & Ayra Starr and BNXN’s ‘Gwagwalada’ feat. Kizz Daniel & Seyi Vibez climb up to Nos. 7 and 8, respectively.

Rema’s ‘Holiday’ returns to No. 9, while Fireboy’s ‘Someone’ debuted at No. 10.

This week’s other debuts include CKay’s ‘Hallelujah’ ft. Blaqbonez at No. 11 and Amaarae’s ‘Co-Star’ at No. 19.

Libianca’s ‘People’ remains at No. 4 in the African entries, having entered its 19th week.

Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ remains in the top 5 with a No. 5 entry, extending its chart run to 37 weeks.

‘Rush’ by Ayra Starr falls five spots to No. 37, extending its chart run to 16 weeks.

Victony’s ‘Soweto’ remix featuring Rema and Don Toliver debuts at No. 67.
