President Muhammadu Buhari introduced the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP)a job placement initiative for graduates who have completed the one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
The 12-month paid internship is expected to benefit 20,000 people who will be placed in respectable corporate and public sector organizations.

Despite Nigeria’s dismal 33.3 percent unemployment rate, Buhari bragged on Tuesday that developing work opportunities for Nigerians has been an important element of his government’s plans and initiatives.
Private sector partners of the programme include BUA, Dangote, VISA Nigeria, Outsource Global, GE Gas, and Power, Lafarge Africa, SecureID, Microsoft, among others.
