David Adeleke, better known as Davido, is a prominent Nigerian musician who has claimed a special relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo, a star football player from Portugal.
The singer recently referred to the player as a very close buddy during an interview on the ABTalks podcast, which Anas Bukhash hosts.
In addition, he defended Ronaldo and chastised those who insulted him when Portugal was eliminated from the World Cup.
Recounting the incident, the artist shared his connection to Ronaldo, stating, “Look at Cristiano Ronaldo when he left the World Cup. He is my friend, by the way. He is my very good friend. When he left the World Cup, I remember being on the internet, and the trolls were abusing him so much, even after everything that he has done.”
It’s important to note that the musician honored Cristiano Ronaldo in his 2017 hit song Fall. Additionally, the well-known player only follows one African musician on Instagram—Davido.
Israel DMW, Davido’s assistant for logistics, recently displayed the artist’s collection of diamond jewelry.
He bragged that the artist only wears real, high-quality jewelry while displaying a range of items, including diamond rings, a necklace with the word “Baddest” engraved, and an ostentatious watch.
Israel boasted that the jewelry price would be enough to build several roads in Nigeria.
