Street-pop singer from Nigeria named Portable just announced the addition of a new artist to his Zeh Nation record label.
By Omotayo Olutekunbi
Portable announced the addition of a new singer to his record company Zeh Nation on his Instagram account on November 23, 2022.
Street-pop musician Yung Duu is someone that Portable wants to mentor and help get into the mainstream.
Since becoming well-known in December 2021 because of the remix of “Zazzu Zeh” with Olamide and Poco Lee, Portable has made headlines for a variety of reasons.
He broke up his relationships with talent management Ijoba Danku and event promoter Kogabgidi due to ongoing disagreements with them. Additionally, he and Poco Lee got into a fight about who owned “Zazzu Zeh.”
He was shortlisted for two Headies awards in 2022 before being disqualified for making violent threats against DJ Chicken and other candidates.
For good reasons, portable has also been in the headlines. He was awarded a chieftaincy title by his Ogun State community, and he has traveled around Africa and Europe.
Another significant event in his career that has so far split opinions is his choice to sign a musician to his record company.
