After eight seasons on the hit American show “Saturday Night Live,” Pete Davidson’s stint on the show is coming to an end.

The comedian and Kim Kardashian’s beau joked about his tenure on the programme, including a dig at Kanye West at his final appearance
On Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update with Colin Jost, Davidson made the announcement,“Hello Colin and Che, and millions of people only watching to see if I bring up Kanye,”
“I never imagined this would be my life. Back then, I was just a skinny kid that no one knew which race I was,” he continued. “And now everyone knows I’m White because I became hugely successful while barely showing up to work. Look at me now, I’m aging like an old banana.”
The comedian wrote a touching Instagram message on his eight-year career on the show.
In 2014, Davidson joined Lorne Michaels’ programme as the first person born in the 1990s to join the ensemble. The 20-year-old was an unpopular comedian at the time.
Davidson is anticipated to keep his association with Broadway Video, the production firm for Saturday Night Live, according to several media reports.
Davidson was selected to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list two years later, and his Netflix comedy special, ‘Pete Davidson: Alive From New York,’ was published in 2020. The 28-year-old comedian has been linked to reality TV star Kim Kardashian. In March, the pair made it official on Instagram.
