Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife, has welcomed his new bride, Olori Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda, to the palace in Ife.
According to internet reports, the palace has extended invitations to relatives and dignitaries for the new queen’s wedding Thanksgiving ceremony and reception, which is set to take place on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
The Queen will enter the prestigious Ife Oodua Palace in Ile-Ife before the celebration, symbolizing her incorporation into the royal family.
This wedding thanksgiving comes on the heels of the famed Yoruba monarch’s recent marriage to his sixth wife, Princess Temitope Adesegun, which took place at MRA Community Hall 15, Tokunbo Macaulay Street, Magodo Phase 2, Shangisha, Lagos State.

The new Queen, Opeoluwa Elizabeth, will be formally greeted by the Yoruba monarch’s royal guards, palace chiefs, and royal servants during the event.
His first marriage occurred on September 6, 2022, when he married Mariam Anako of the Ebira tribe in Kogi State. Elizabeth Opeoluwa Akinmuda, an Ondo native, wedded his second wife the next day, September 7, 2022.
The Monarch married Tobi Phillips, a native of Okitipupa in Ondo State, as his third wife on October 9, 2022. Shortly later, on October 14, 2022, he married Ashley Afolashade Adegoke, an Ile-Ife princess.
Continuing his string of marriages, another Ile-Ife princess, Ronke Ademiluyi, became his fifth wife on October 20, 2022. On October 24, 2022, Asake Temitope Morenike Adesegun completed the sequence by becoming the Monarch’s sixth wife.
