Odumodu Blvck has become one of the rappers giving much-needed energy and depth to the Nigerian Hip Hop industry since achieving widespread recognition in 2021.
The rapper recently stated on Twitter that he declined an invitation to play at the All Progressive Congress’ Renewed Hope Concert in Abuja.
Odumodu said in the tweet that the people who invited him did not do their research because if they had, they would not have bothered.
Odumodu Blvck was ambiguous about his support for Labour Party candidate Peter Obi in the run-up to the 2023 general elections. He mentioned Peter Obi in one of his songs, saying he was waiting for Peter Obi to come and help him.
While Odumodu declined the invitation to play at the concert, numerous other celebrities, including Olamide, Asake, Timaya, and Seyi Vibez, did.
Odumodu has been on a roll in 2023, beginning with the release of his track ‘Declan Rice,’ which reached the top ten on TurnTable Top 100. on May 30, 2023, he will release the remix to his popular tune ‘Dog Eat Dog,’ in which he features Bella Shmurda and Santi.
