Wizkid, a Nigerian megastar, is one of the musicians included in the forthcoming ‘Across the Spider-Verse’ film.

Afrobeats is quickly becoming one of the most popular music genres in the world, with Nigerian singers topping charts and selling out major venues throughout the globe.
Wizkid, a multi-award-winning Nigerian singer, is slated to introduce Afrobeats to the Marvel series as one of the artists in the next ‘Across the Spider-Verse’ film.
Metrobooming, the platinum-selling music producer in charge of the soundtrack, made the announcement.

Other musicians announced for the soundtrack include Swae Lee, who collaborated with Post Malone on the original installment’s soundtrack.
Rappers Nas, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, 21 Savage, A$AP Rocky, JID, A Boogie With Da Hoodie, Lil Uzi Vert, and others have all been listed as contributors to the soundtrack.
The sequel to ‘Spider-Verse’ follows the prologue ‘Into the Spider-Verse,’ which grossed over $380 million in 2018.
