Nancy Isime Receives An Honorary Doctorate From Prowess University USA 

The well-known reality TV personality has won numerous awards and honors.

Prowess University in Delaware, USA, has conferred an honorary doctorate degree in philosophy and the arts to actress and well-known figure Nancy Isime.

She posted a message on Instagram thanking her followers for their encouragement and congrats. Isime called her late mother her “guardian angel” and credited her with her accomplishments. She passed away 27 years ago.

Sharing the news, she wrote, “Yesterday, I was conferred an honorary doctorate degree in arts and philosophy by Prowress University, Delaware, USA, in conjunction with Leadtimes Africa Magazine. I was also awarded the Leadtime Africa Leadership Prize for Quality Service Delivery and Professionalism. I’m beyond honoured and grateful for this great consideration. Congratulations to my fellow 2023 Doctorate Awardees! I pray that God gives us the strength and wisdom to continually excel and be good examples in our respective fields and careers. To many more recognitions.”

While dedicating the win to her mom, she wrote, “Dedicating this win to my Mummy, who on the 28th of April had marked 27 years since she left us. I miss you everyday Mummy. Keep watching over me, my guardian Angel. I Love you”

Nancy Isime made her acting debut in the 2011 television series “Echoes,” and she has since been in a number of Nollywood films, including “Kambili: The Whole 30 Yards,” “The Set Up 2,” and “Shanty Town.” She also had a prosperous career in Nigeria as a broadcaster, succeeding Toke Makinwa as Trending on HipTV’s host in 2016.
