The second season of The Real Housewives of Lagos has set a new streaming record on Showmax Nigeria, becoming the most-watched Original on its debut day, as confirmed by the streaming platform.
The second season of ‘The Real Housewives of Lagos’ premiered on September 29, 2023, surpassing the first season’s performance in 2022. Dr. Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, expressed delight at the positive reception and viewers’ enjoyment, eagerly anticipating the rest of the season.
The reality show created buzz on social media, with the official hashtag #RHOLagos trending prominently on platforms like X (formerly Twitter). Season two of RHOLagos provides a deeper look into the lives and opulent lifestyles of seven prominent women. Joining the original cast members Iyabo Ojo, Laura Ikeji-Kanu, Mariam Timmer, Chioma Ikokwu, and Toyin Lawani Adebayo are newcomers Faith Morey and Tania Omotayo.
