May Edochie, Yul’s estranged first wife, has finally taken her husband and his second wife to court.
In her suit against Judy for adultery with her spouse, the brand and lifestyle Influencer reportedly wanted N100m in damages.
May stated in her claim that she and Yul married under the 1970 Marriage Act, which states that neither a man nor a woman can have more than one wife or husband at the same time.
The Divorce blog, DPA Family Law Clinic, published an article that has gone viral on Facebook. The Facebook page disclosed the specifics of May Edochie’s complaint and why she waited so long to petition for divorce.
It was also explained in detail why May considers Yul’s marriage to Judy null and void because her husband married her under the 1970 marriage laws and is not allowed to have more than one wife at a time, unlike the traditional marriage act.
According to the lengthy post, Yul was recently at his previous matrimonial house, which he used to share with May, but was denied entry.
May is represented in court by Femi Falana’s law company and Eculaw, according to the article. May stated in her lawsuit that her spouse appears to be under the influence of something and has been particularly hostile, impulsive, irrational, and increasingly threatening.
She is alleged to have filed a second charge against Judy for adultery with her husband and has claimed N100 million in damages.
