DJ Tunez, a legendary disc jockey, lists Portable as one of the musicians who motivates him.

One of Nigeria’s most well-known street performers, Portable, depicts the everyday realities of living on the streets in his songs. While his troubleshooting antics have also made him well-known, his music has attracted a broader audience.
The Afrobeats Podcast’s renowned DJ, Tunez, said that he considers Portable an inspiring musician during a conversation with media celebrity Adesope.
Tunez claims that the Portable line inspires him. He said how inspirational his songs like “Destiny has no competition” and “A Lion Doesn’t Fear to work alone” are.
Recently, ‘Portable and DJ Tunez, Wizkid’s official DJ, worked together on a song named ‘Banga.
Since bursting into the spotlight in 2021 with the popular song “Zazzu Zeh” remix featuring Olamide & Poco Lee, Portable has established himself as a celebrity known for his music and pranks.
Many listeners would agree with DJ Tunez that there are encouraging aspects in Portable’s music. This characteristic is shared by street musicians whose music expresses their reality and trust in a higher power.
