Davido has said that marrying Chioma Rowland Adeleke was his finest move ever.
In a recent interview, the award-winning singer discussed how finding a spouse is the key to happiness and how meeting his wife over two decades ago was a lucky break.
Davido said he met Chioma during his first year of college and rapidly became inseparable.
He applauded his wife for never getting involved in any controversy and for really knowing him, which made her a wonderful fit for him.
He said, “Me and my wife, we grew up together basically. We went to school together. We met in school. It’s like we are just so used to each other. She is like a part of me.”
The Nigerian Afrobeat superstar emphasized the need to meet someone who understands you, saying he and Chioma are great together. “There’s nothing she does that’s ‘crazy’. It’s just a good match, ” he said.

Davido praised her cooking skills, saying, “And I’ve known her for almost 20 years, and she can cook. Wohh!!!”
His marriage announcement to Chioma has gone viral on social media, with friends and followers congratulating the pair for their love and commitment to one another.
