Alvina Stewart, Anthony Anderson’s Wife Of 22 years Files For Divorce 

This will not be the first time she has filed for divorce from the comedian.

Anthony Anderson, an American actor and comedian, and his wife Alvina Stewart have divorced after 22 years of marriage.

Stewart filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Courts on Monday, March 28, 2022, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the basis for their split, according to records acquired by The Blast.

Stewart requested spousal support from the 51-year-old star in the document.

“All gifts and inheritance, all assets, earnings, accumulations, and debts acquired by Petitioner prior to the date of marriage and after the date of separation, the exact nature and extent of which are unknown,” the documents reportedly state.

This will not be the first time she has filed for divorce from the comedian.

Stewart initially filed for divorce in 2015, but the petition was dismissed and she remarried Anderson.

In 2018, Anderson was accused of punching a lady, which sparked a new round of marital strife.

He denied the charge.

After meeting in college at Howard University, they married in 1999.

Kyra, 26, and Nathan, 22, are their two adult children.

This implies she will not seek child support.

Aside from his marital problems, Anderson has had a lot of success in his work.

He was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2017 for best performance by an actor in a television series for his work on Black-ish, and he also garnered his seventh Emmy nomination for outstanding lead actor in a comedy series.

The actor grew up in Compton, California, and attended Hollywood High School for the Performing Arts before attending Howard University.

He began his stand-up career at the Comedy Act Theater, which led to roles on NYPD Blue and Malcolm & Eddie.
