The family of late South African artist Kiernan Jarryd Forbes has revealed the dates for the rapper’s burial procession.

AKA’s family disclosed in a message on the late rapper’s official social media accounts on Tuesday, 14th February 2023, that he will be buried in a private ceremony on Saturday, 18th February 2023.
The statement also stated that a memorial service for the late rapper will be conducted on Friday, February 17, 2023.
On February 10, 2023, AKA was shot on his birthday in Florida Durban. His death is being investigated by the Kwazulu Natal organized crime section, according to the police.
AKA was one of Africa’s best rappers up to his demise, having multiple hit tracks and honors to his name. According to his obituary in Pulse, AKA was a Hip Hop enigma whose music and personality was recognizable, and his passing is a major loss to the African music business.
According to the release, AKA’s father, Mr. Tony Forbes, has been selected as the family’s spokesman about the late rapper’s death and burial.
